John Platter *** - Ripe mulberry, mint, and stemmy flavours mingle pleasantly with light smokiness from the oak. The palate is characterised by firm, ripe tannins and there is a hint of chocolate on the aftertaste. May be bottle-matured for up to five years.

IN THE CELLAR
Half of the grapes from a single vineyard underwent carbonic maceration (whole bunch fermentation) and eight months' maturation in new French oak.
