The wine has a bright yellow colour. It has a smoky and toasty nose with hints of stone fruit. The palate is full and creamy, with well-integrated acidity followed by vanilla on the aftertaste.

This serious and complex wine pairs well aromatic Asian dishes and rich seafood.

Chamonix Greywacke Chardonnay 2023

The grapes are handpicked from three different Chardonnay block on the estate. The grapes are whole bunch pressed. The juice is settled in stainless tanks for one day and then fermented. This elegant wine is complex with citrus and pear notes that is complemented by an intriguing nuttiness and a crisp finish.

Enjoy now through to 2029.

Pair with seafood, flaky white fish or Alfredo pasta with cream sauces work beautifully with the buttery notes of the wine.

Chamonix Premier White Blend 2022

Blend: Sauvignon Blanc 74% and 26% Semillon

Shows a pale straw colour in the first year after release, fresh aromas with scents of exotic spice, figs and grapefruit. Full on the palate with a rich fruit sensation, ending with a refreshing acidity.

The wine reaches its prime in about 4 years after release.

Serve at 7-9 Deg

Pair with lightly grilled or roasted chicken, especially with herbs or a lemony sauce, sushi, spring rolls, or Thai salads.

This wine has aromas of cherry, dark berries and hints of fynbos with a bright ruby-red colour. The palate shows freshness, concentration and balance, with flavours of ripe black cherries, plums and black current. There is a lengthy fullness on the palate and an understated class and elegance.

This wine is the perfect match for game, such as Kudu, roasted and stewed red meats and aged cheeses.

Bright, pale straw colour with delicate scent of wild flowers and fruit, especially Cape Honeysuckle. White peaches and pineapples with a delicate underlying minerality. A myriad of flavours welcomes you to this enticing wine. Stone fruit, citrus and an underlying hint of oatmeal. On the palate the richness of the fermentation in clay Amphora’s, adds complexity and rounds off the quince, citrus and “smoors” that play around in your mouth.

A brilliant wine to pair with decadent seafood dishes, risotto and of course Crème Brulée.

The Reserve Collection Black Series showcases our absolute passion for wine and our ongoing quest for innovation in the cellar. Sourcing grapes from sites specific pave the way to create individual wines with a distinct character and taste . This Series is not about volume, it’s about showcasing the very best of what our cellar , the team and the vineyards can achieve.

Grapes were sourced and selected from the oldest vineyard on our farm, circa 1990. After whole bunch pressing the juice underwent natural fermentation in split of Amphora and French Oak Barrels. Only 30 % of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation and regular battonage during the 1st 100 days to help add length and depth of flavour. After 10 month the wine was blended, given a light filtration and bottled. The wine spent another year in bottle before release that added even more character and richness.
