Such a lovely example of a vibrant, fresher and more elegant style of Chardonnay. It shows delicate floral and pear notes, with minerality in abundance. With the longer spontaneous fermentation, the wine developed much more complexity and a beautiful length on the palate, without being fatty. Just well balanced with great freshness and texture. Unoaked and understated, but persistent on the finish.

Serve at 7-9 Deg.

Grilled tiger prawns, seared white fish, or dishes like cod with chorizo complement the wine’s fresh profile.

False Bay Slow Chenin Blanc 2025

The False Bay range is named after the bay which frames Waterkloof Estate’s eagle’s view from the top of the Schapenberg outside Somerset West. A complex Chenin Blanc which is fresh, soft and elegant. The nose is welcoming with prominent hints of stone fruits such as white pears and apricots and also showing hints of honey. The taste is round and smooth, finishing with slight acids that give the wine a beautiful structure and length.

Serve at 8-10 Deg.

Food pairings: seafood, roast chicken, pasta salads, lighter dishes.

Best enjoyed within the first few years.

Approachable in its youth, this Syrah has the structure to age gracefully for 3–5 years.

False Bay Cinsault/Mourvedre Rose 2026

Pale copper hue with an inviting, earthy nose, showing aromas of fresh red cherries, tomato leaf, clay pot and hibiscus blossom. The cherry character of the nose follows through onto the palate with flavours of red apple, pink grapefruit and nuances of blood orange, white peach and poached pear. The wine is made in a luscious, round and fruity style, yet elegant and focused, with vibrant, integrated acidity. Wild strawberries, pomegranate and subtle hints of cloves, crushed gravel and sage linger on a clean, dry finish.

Serve at 10-12 Deg.

This is a dry, crisp rose with good acidity and subtle fruit, it pairs beautifully with light Mediterranean-style dishes.
