Louisvale Chavant Chardonnay 2024

A lightly wooded Chardonnay. The Chavant spent 4 months on small French oak barrels. A fine balance of fresh citrus, vanilla and white peach flavours, this Chardonnay offers hints of butterscotch and citrus on the nose.

Serve at 10-12 Deg.

Best enjoyed now through ~2026.

Pair with Tapas & small plates: smoked salmon, grilled calamari or tempura vegetables.

Louisvale Cabernet Sauvignon

An expressive bouquet of dark berries, blackcurrant and plum aromas. The fruit is concentrated and expressive with oak nuances and silky, juicy tannins leading to a well structured long finish.

Matured in French Oak barrels for 12 months. The palate is silky and smooth with rich ripe plum and mulberry flavours supported by subtle oak nuances and soft ripe tannins.

Serve at 12-15 Deg.

Blend: 71% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc.

Louisvale Wooded Chardonnay 2025

Louisvale’s signature wine, this ultra premium Chardonnay has been matured in the finest French oak available. The nose is intensely complex with elegant aromas of lemon blossom, pineapple and apricot, toast and spice notes. The palate is smooth and buttery with a lingering after taste.

An ideal accompaniment to fish, poultry, pork and rich pastas.

Serve at : 9-12 Deg.

Additional Info: Grapes are carefully hand picked from Louisvale’s top Chardonnay blocks early in the morning. They are placed in the cold room at 8 degrees overnight, before being processed in the cellar. Our Chardonnay vines are planted on Oakleaf soils. Warm days followed by cool nights with a breeze coming from the ocean allows slow and consistent ripening of our Chardonnay grapes. Grapes are destemmed, crushed, and then gently pressed in the cellar. The juice is allowed to settle overnight, after which is is racked into brand new, 225L French oak barrels where they undergo fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is left in the barrel for a further 8-10 months to allow for the oak flavours to fully integrate into the wine.
