Cabernet Sauvignon 48%, Merlot 37%, Cabernet Franc 15%

When the glass is lifted to the lips, the nose carries over perfectly onto the palate. Complex flavours of dark berries, savoury notes of leather and cloves and even the playful sweet flavours of red berries dance on the tongue and entices the drinker into another sip. A rich and mature, yet manageable tannin structure ensure that the flavours develop in the mouth with a full mid palate and long and fruity finish. A subtle acidity balances the experience to a tee.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

Enjoyable young and will cellar well through to 2030.

Pair with charred portobello mushrooms with balsamic glaze or charcuterie board with dried meats and olives.

Malbec is known for making intense, darkly coloured wines with strong tannins. This wine is very rich in fruit flavours and is an absolute pleasure to drink. Being the smallest part of the Mischa production, the Malbec is as exclusive as it comes with only 4700 bottles produced. This exceptional wine is definitely one to get your hands on.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

Cabernet Franc is a beautiful grape variety that’s making big waves in the South African wine community. Lesser known to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc is just as formidable and can be taken just as seriously. On Mischa, we strive to create a Cabernet Franc that expresses a variety of red and black fruit flavours, rather than the green flavours often associated with the cultivar. This wine has a substantial body but does not overpower the palate due to the humble use of a range of new and older French oak. The multitude of different flavours and aromas speak volumes to the quality of this wine.

Brilliant ruby color with vibrant cherry-red hues and nice legs. Inviting, beautiful aromas of ripe red fruits such as plums and raspberries with a hint of mocha latte. Extremely elegant and well balanced with flavours of black cherry, red berries, and chocolate. Beautifully structured and integrated with soft tannins for a smooth, silky finish!

Drink well on its own, but also compliments cheeses such as camembert or brie, and pairs nicely with creamy Italian pastas, local game, rich food, dark chocolate or cheesecake!
