Expressive aromas of orange zest, ripe mandarin, almonds and a subtle interplay of vanilla and oak spice. The palate offers a soft, creamy entry, beautifully balanced with oak nuances and a lively citrus-like acidity. This elegant, lightly oaked Chardonnay showcases lingering flavours of ripe citrus fruit and luscious lemon curd, culminating in a harmonious and refreshing finish.

Serve at 9-12 Deg.

Serve with buttery seafood such as lobster tail or creamy shrimp pasta, roasted chicken with lemon and herbs, citrus-based salads, mushroom risotto, or soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.

Best enjoyed young, within 3 years from vintage.

Opaque with purple rim. Rich, dark berry nose with loads of spice and fine oak. Enormous mouth feel loaded with rich berry fruit and slow, soft, almost syrupy flow across the palate. Full, ripe fruit flavours are deposited all the way. Big wine yet beautifully balanced. Long, aromatic finish. Very attractive now but lots of potential still to develop. A massive wine!

Serve at 12-15 Deg.

Drink this superb wine with creamy beef fillet tagliatelle with parmesan, or springbok carpaccio with chakalaka cheese.

Best enjoyed now through to 2026–2028.

Niel Joubert Merlot

Deep plum core with fading edge. Rich ripe plum nose. Hints of chocolate and vanilla with floral backing. Equally rich plum flavours in the mouth and full, soft flow across the palate. Hints of chocolate develop in the mouth while the floral backing becomes more apparent. Supple tannins lead into dry, smooth finish.

Drink this superb wine with Baby Chicken served with Roasted veggies and spicy Potatoes, Pan-fried free ranch chicken supreme, Black Mussels
