The Matriarch honours the matriarchs that played such a pivotal role in establishing and building Nitida to the destination it is today. Made in the classic Méthod Champenoise style, from 39% Chardonnay and 61% Pinot Noir. These grapes were sourced from other farms in Durbanville. The Chardonnay lends elegance and finesse to the blend, while the Pinot Noir contributes strawberry flavours.

An explosion of flavour and 2022 excitement, bursting with fresh, crisp green apples that slowly melt as the full, silky-smooth mousse lingers, leaving you with a delectable undertone of creamy brioche.

This bubbly craves to be paired with salmon, and dill rissoto.

Serve well chilled.

Named after the striking Protea Coronata, this elegant blend reflects the flower itself. The golden-yellow centre symbolises the Semillon, while the vibrant green petals represent the Sauvignon Blanc.

Crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and barrel-fermented Semillon, the components are blended before returning to barrel for several months, allowing the wine to harmonise and develop exceptional complexity. This wine opens with enticing aromas and flavours of honeycomb, butterscotch and citrus marmalade, beautifully complemented by delicate notes of raw almond. Blend: 38% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6.5% Malbec and 6.5% Petit Verdot.

A Bordeaux-style blend that speaks in layers and showcases both elegance and complexity. Red berry fruit forms its vibrant core, beautifully complemented by the spice and herbaceous lift of Cabernet Franc.
