The wine shows plum and cinnamon spice on the nose. Black cherry and mulberry fruit show on the palate along with spice, all leading to a well integrated, firm tannin structure. A fruit-forward and silky wine for everyday drinking.

Try with roast chicken, duck, lean steak cuts (fillet/flank) or barbecue pulled pork sandwiches. Also great with meaty pizza or pasta.

Zorgvliet Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Light yellow in colour with hints of lime green, the nose shows intense black currant and gooseberry aromas with complex hints of tropical, citrus blossom and green fig. On the palate it has a rich and mouth filling entry, a creamy texture from the natural acidity and lees contact, and a lingering textured finish.

Serve at 7-9 Deg.

Pair with salads dressed with vinaigrette, rich seafood dishes and Thai food. Also enjoy with goat milk cheese.

Enjoy now through to 2028.

Zorgvliet Silver Myn Chardonnay

The aroma of this lightly oaked Chardonnay reminds of citrus blossoms and lime. Subtle flavours of pears, pineapple and grapefruit leads to a crisp and refreshing finish.

Given its fresh and vibrant profile, this wine pair well with soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.

Zorgvliet Keurtjieskloof Red

Blend : Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 29%, Cabernet Franc 15% and Petit Verdot 1%

Due to the abundance of the Keurtjie (Cure-kee) or Blossom-Pea on Zorgvliet, one of the ravines here was named Keurtjieskloof. This endemic fynbos shrub produces a fragrant pink flower with a sweet scent that can fill entire valleys. The Dutch word “keur” means a selection of the very finest and this red was blended from the most fragrant Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes.

This fragrant red wine shows black cherry, plum and cinnamon spice on the nose. Black cherry and mulberry fruit show on the palate along with spice, all leading to a well-integrated, firm tannin structure.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

This wine should improve with aging over a period of 5 years or longer if it is stored under optimum conditions.

Zorgvliet Sparkling Rose

This is a sec or dry style sparkling wine. Salmon pink colour. The nose is tropical with hints of cut grass and cranberry. The wine is crisp on the entry but rounded in the mid palate with an explosion of red berry flavours on the finish. This delightful bubbly has a fresh acid that perfectly balance out the natural sweetness.

This is a blended rose made from Sauvignon blanc, Semillon and Cabernet Franc. This wine was bottled using the carbonation method.

Enjoy with seafood in light creamy sauces and lightly dressed salads. Also great with Chinese and Thai dishes, and with Japanese sushi and raw-fish dishes.

Zorgvliet Cabernet Sauvignon

An inviting bouquet of dark fruits like blackberry, cassis and plum, often accompanied by hints of oak, vanilla and subtle spice. On the palate, it shows full-bodied structure with ripe tannins, rich flavours of dark fruit, chocolate and earthy notes with well balanced acidity. The finish is elegant, with lingering fruit and oak nuances.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

Drink now and will reward in 2028.

Beef or lamb stews enhance the wine’s bold flavours and complexity.

Pale salmon pink in the glass. The nose shows fresh raspberry, cranberry, and red currant, with light tropical hints and a subtle herbal edge. On the palate, it opens with a crisp citrus lift, broadens into a gently rounded mid-palate, and finishes clean with vibrant red berry fruit.

This is a very versatile Rose which will pair beautifully with prawns, ham and prosciutto or Mediterranean dishes.

Zorgvliet Silver Myn Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Light lime green in color with hints of yellow, the nose shows multi-layered greener tropical fruit such as green melon, kiwi fruit and fig. This character is true to the Banghoek terroir – lots of gooseberry zip, linear, crisp and racy. This is a mouth filling wine with moderate acidity leading to a multi-layered complex palate showing distinct mineral and fig flavours on the finish. A small addition of Semillon adds to the overall roundness on the palate.

Pairs well with salads dressed with vinaigrette, seafood and tomato-based pasta dishes.
