The wine has a deep red colour with expressive aromas of ripe berries, cassis, vanilla and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, supported by firm but polished tannins and a lingering finish. Hints of mint and oak add extra complexity.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

Pairs well with rich red meat dishes.

Drinking beautifully now, but will continue developing complexity for 3-5 years under proper cellaring.

The palate is refreshing and invigorating, with a delicate mousse and an integrated acidity. The fruit spectrum is beautifully balanced against the backdrop of yeasty notes, with long-lasting flavours of lemon peel and baked apple pie on the finish.

Serve with fresh oysters, sushi, poached salmon, seafood in a light cream sauce, asparagus, artichokes, cheese soufflé, grilled crayfish and baked apple pie.

Serve very well chilled.

Well balanced and rounded, it reveals juicy fruit on the palate without any overripeness, and with a soft balanced finish. This wine is an easy drinking crowd-pleaser and is perfect slightly chilled on its own, or with meat from the braai.
