The grenache grapes in the Journey’s End’s delicate but vivacious rosé, hail from the Swartland, making it the Wild Child of the group. Hitherto an arid and windswept wilderness better known for sheep and wheat farming, the challenging terroir of the wild West Coast of South Africa is brim-full of potential to grow fantastic grapes.
Wild strawberry, cherry and cranberry abound, with subtle hints of rose petal and crisp acidity, leads to a dry and rounded finish.
Serve at 7-9 Deg
Pair with seafood canapes, sushi and sashimi.
