This wine prides itself on its elegance. Beautiful bursts of red berry and blackberry flavours balanced by dark chocolate and subtle spices. Pair this wine with lighter meats, a fillet instead of a ribeye.
The grapes come from Polkadraai, Stellenbosch and are grown only on decomposed dolomite granite soils. This lends itself to great acidity, freshness and an extended mineral finish.
This wine was matured in 3th & 4th fill, 300 litre French Oak barrels for 16 months. The wine was matured using only neutral oak barrels.
