Awards: Trophy Wine Show Silver & 90 points Tim Atkin
An elegant wine, with an aroma of fresh bright peach, honeydew melon, citrus, straw and vanilla. The wine has a creamy finessed texture, evident new wood aromas and a lovely long finish with nice fresh acid keeping it bouncy and vibrant.
This wine will gain complexity over the coming 3-4 years.
Pair with pork chops or tenderloin with fruit-based sauces or a Brie, Camembert or goat cheese board.
Serve at 9-12 Deg.

Painted Wolf Wines supports the conservation of the highly endangered painted wolf (African wild dog) and the protection of the diminishing wild spaces of Africa, through its donations.
This Chenin Blanc was sourced from 20-year-old bush vines in Paardeberg and Agter Paarl, plus 43-year-old heritage vines from Wellington, with a touch of Paardeberg Roussanne added for finesse. Grapes were picked at 22–23° Balling, destemmed, settled, and wild-fermented in 500L French oak (25% new, tight grain). Fermentation was slow, enhancing complexity and texture.
