Berried notes of currents and raspberries seasoned by aromas of white pepper, cedar oak and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is full bodied and fruit driven on entry with chalky tannin and a fresh acidity bringing balance and length. The estate blend is of any or all red grape varieties grown on the estate, the idea is to make the best possible wine without any restrictions on the components of the blend. For this reason the blend varies from year to year.
38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 19% Shiraz and 7% Pinotage
Pair with a steak, lamb chops or a hearty stew.
