The wine is already good to drink, with a hearty meal. Perfect from now until 2030, if you can keep some bottles till then.

Prime rib steak with a balsamic reduction, roasted springbok loin marinated in spices and red wine, oven roasted guinea fowl with a Synchronicity reduction sauce.

TA : 5.8 g/l
Sugar : 2.1 g/l
pH : 3.75

Meinert Merlot

Fresh, rich brick red colour. Dried herbs and ripe berries, quite a heady nose, no doubt it will settle some more. A gentle “cool” wine with a soft round middle and a firm crisp finish.

An excellent food wine, ideal with game birds like quail, guinea fowl and duck. Lamb suits the wine’s herbal touches.
