With time in the glass, notes of freshly tilled soil and bay leaf emerge alongside a sweeter dark fruit core, beautifully balancing the wine’s refined herbaceous character. The palate is structured yet seamless, with integrated tannins, vibrant freshness and a subtle briny edge supporting its impressive ageing potential.

This wine has a very typical Cabernet Sauvignon characters with floral undertones of violets. Very typical Helderberg characters. The wine has soft tannins that linger on the palate.

The Banghoek- ward terroir is expressed through dark and herbal notes, a firm structure, and a fresh and tight acid. A typical Zorgvliet styled wine: deep, dark-fruit characters where some cool menthol and boegoe (fynbos) notes show.
