Description
Matured for 24 months in barrel, 30% new. Dark berries, tea leaf, violets and crushed herbs, spice and pencil shavings on the nose. The palate is medium bodied, pure and poised – succulent fruit, fresh acidity and fine tannins.
This wine pairs well with barbecued meats like beef or lamb. It also matches with more exotic flavours like Thai roast duck and Cajun chicken.
Enjoy it now or cellar it for another 4 to 6 years for added complexity and depth.
Serve at 15-18 Deg.
