This year was one that allowed me to take an extended summer holiday. Perfect growing conditions contributed to slow ripening of the grapes, there for better and complete fruit development. Our goal is to always achieve optimal ripeness, to have a wine that displays all the flavours that a Sauvignon Blanc can offer.
90% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Semillon
For a delightful main course, pair the Groote Post Seasalter Sauvignon Blanc with grilled seafood, such as prawns or scallops, seasoned with fresh herbs and a hint of garlic. Alternatively, try it with a tangy goat cheese salad, complemented by figs and walnuts, or a creamy risotto with asparagus and Parmesan.
