Description
A variety of Chardonnay clones were planted on different slopes, harvested at different ripening levels and all of it fermented and matured in French oak barrels. These practices help to achieve natural balance and allow for different textural components which we then blend to achieve finesse and complexity. Bold and graceful with fragrances of lemon biscuit and overripe oranges.
It’s a versatile wine that can elevate many meals from creamy Alfredo or carbonara or with a fresh cheese board of Brie, camembert, or goats’ cheese.
Serve at 9.12 Deg.
Cellaring potential of about 5 to 7 years.
Additional Info :
Stellenbosch Kloof’s varied elevations and cooler south- and east-facing slopes create ideal conditions for classic grape varieties, particularly aromatic whites. Its unique ravine benefits from maritime influences—False Bay to the south and the Benguela current to the northwest—bringing cool breezes and morning mists. These factors make the meso-climate up to 3°C cooler than inland Stellenbosch during ripening, adding distinctive character to Jordan wines.
