Description
Dedicated to producing site-specific, single-varietal wines that express the distinct character of its fynbos and maritime surroundings whilst protecting the natural habitat, PaardenKloof is an acclaimed WWF Biodiversity Champion farm.
Sauvignon Blanc grapes are hand- harvested from mountainous vineyards on ancient, decomposed Table Mountain sandstone. A microclimate characterised by hot midday sun and late afternoon sea breezes combine with specially selected clones to deliver high acidity and flavours covering the tropical spectrum. The wines are unwooded and carefully bottle- aged to ensure purity, intensity, complexity and vibrancy.
