Description

The wine signature is based on two distinct legs of fruit (blue berry, plum) and herbs and spices (pepper and mint) with secondary support notes of chocolate, tobacco and liquorice. The palate is fresh, round, smooth, velvety (surprisingly so for a Shiraz),quite rich with intriguing spice and a full savory finish and good dark, red fruit holding it all together.

This blend goes exceptionally well with game , stews, veal and pastas. The wines weight will allow pairings of grilled beef, braaivleis and roasts among other choices. Chicken is also welcome to the table.
