Description

Dark in colour with purple edges, this 100% Syrah wine opens with rich aromas of black cherries, mulberries and young plums. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper add a warm spiciness. On the palate, it starts with a touch of sweetness, leading to a fresh, fruity profile. Smooth tannins are layered with flavours of red cherry and cranberry, finishing with a spicy lift.

Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb chops, slow-cooked beef short ribs, mushroom risotto, or aged hard cheeses like Pecorino or mature cheddar.

Serve at 16-18 Deg.

Enjoy within 5–8 years. With proper cellaring, it will develop added complexity and integration over time.

Hand-picked in the morning, the grapes were left unsorted and uncrushed to preserve whole berries. Tanks were filled with 30% whole bunches, gently foot-stomped to release juice, then topped with crushed grapes. Fermentation began spontaneously and after 11 days on skins, the wine was pressed and completed malolactic fermentation in neutral barrels.
