Description
This wine is a beautifully poised expression of Chardonnay with notes of citrus and blossom followed by aromas of white peach, pear, green apple and a subtle hint of maritime salinity. The palate is textured yet vibrant and fresh, with a delicate and lingering finish.
Badbea (pronounced “Badbay”) was a Scottish clearance village where the Gunn Clan found refuge after being displaced in the late 1700s. A descendant, Andrew Gunn, later established vineyards high above the Atlantic Ocean on South Africa’s Cape South Coast. This Chardonnay is a tribute to resilience, optimism and perseverance.
Serve at 10-12 Deg.
