Might encourage a black forest cake pursuit. Will definitely do justice to a tender mushroom crusted fillet mignon with Gratin Dauphinois.
The wine will benefit from at least 3-5 years of bottle age before drinking, possibly more depending on vintage characteristics and your taste preference.
