The Wolf & Woman label springs from a quote Jolandie’s husband once sent her: “Some days I am more wolf than woman and I am still learning how to stop apologising for my wild.”
This awakened in her the “wild woman” qualities she sees as essential to winemaking — intuition, passion and authenticity. Jolandie pours her own story into her wines. Each bottle offers a glimpse into how she sees and feels the world: a distilled expression of her journey, her craft and her wild, creative spirit.
Light- to medium-bodied – crisp and refreshingly dry. The red-fruit aromas carry through as juicy strawberry, watermelon or cherry flavours. A mineral slightly savoury thread might emerge on the finish, giving a hint of complexity beyond pure fruit. Acidity should be lively, balancing the fruit and ensuring a clean, bright finish.
Serve at 8-10 Deg.
Pair with Salads with citrus, berries, or melon or Mezze platters: hummus, olives and warm flatbread.
