An opulent and intense nose of ripe dark fruit and plum is layered with hints of clove, cardamom and black pepper. The palate is rich and expressive, showing blackberry, liquorice and subtle savoury notes, with a touch of spice carrying through. A velvety midpalate, bright acidity and fine, integrated tannins create a beautifully balanced wine, finishing smooth with lingering cassis and hints of olive tapenade.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
Ideal with grilled red meats, slow braised lamb, rich stews and charcuterie.
