Description
A beautifully balanced Bordeaux-style blend with a dark maroon core and bright ruby rim. Aromas of ripe plum, blackcurrant, coffee and dark chocolate are complemented by subtle notes of cedar and graphite. The palate is full-bodied, silky and well-structured, with the Merlot contributing plush fruit and supple tannins, while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds depth, freshness and a long, refined finish.
Perfect pairing to braised pork belly, beef rump or short ribs.
Drinking beautifully now, especially after a short decant, but will continue to develop gracefully over the next 8 years, gaining added complexity and elegant savoury character.
