Beautiful purity of limes and ripe gooseberry, with tropical, floral and fine herbal notes, ruby grapefruit and white pear drop on the finish. This is cool climate Sauvignon Blanc – vibrant, mineral, elegant, balanced and delicate, with a long, layered and complex finish.

Due to its normal cost I am generally not able to drink this wine. When Getwine gave it a special and possible price, I thought I would give it a taste. Thank you to Getwine for the introduction. Now I have that conundrum of whether to buy some more. The great thing about Getwine is that there are always specials which give you the opportunity to taste other Sav Blancs and really give you such a wide variety of wines to taste. I will hopefully be able to come back to Iona for another Sav Blanc.
