Verdelho Spanish spice and oak. This funky food wine … Slow long fermentation followed by intense working with the lees creates a full-bodied wine with flavours of lemons, lime and Spanish spice. This wine offers an inviting nose filled with citrus, nuts and a little wood. The wine has a lovely fleshy texture, with persistent flavours of stone fruit and nuts and a creamy juicy finish.
Serve at 9-12 Deg.
Pair with tapas or small plates: due to the “funky food wine” description, things like chorizo & roasted peppers, marinated olives, aioli and citrus dressed calamari.
Drinkable now and will show well over the next 2-4 years.
