Description

Alluring, deep ruby colour with a slight hue of garnet in the rim. An array of aromas of perfectly ripe mulberries, black berries and raspberries backed up by smooth cedar and oak spice. This complex aroma profile is finished off by the pleasant scent of forest floor after summer rain.

The palate is silky smooth tannins round off flavours of blackberry jam and beautifully ripe plum. This wine is full bodied yet elegant and can be indulged in right now, but will benefit from 10-15 years of aging. The long-lasting aftertaste of dark berry fruit and sweet spice will leave anybody opening a bottle of Cerno wanting more.

This wine pairs absolutely beautifully with succulent lamb draped in raspberry jus. Dark chocolate infused with salted caramel also brings the best out of our flagship wine.
