Description
The nose presents a vibrant bouquet of ripe cherry, Turkish delight, strawberry, and bramble fruit, complemented by hints of blackberry and raspberry. On the palate, it’s elegant and fruit-driven, with lean, fine tannins providing subtle grip and a juicy, refreshing finish.
Best enjoyed slightly chilled, this Pinotage is crafted in an elegant style that pays tribute to its parent cultivars.
Drinking beautifully now, but will reward cellaring for 3 or more years.
Best paired with grilled meats, braais, and spicy dishes.
Serve at 15-18 Deg.
Additional Info:
Hand-picked at phenolic ripeness, the grapes were destemmed into open fermenters with whole berries intact. Gentle pump-overs and cool fermentation ensured soft extraction. The juice was pressed off the skins before dryness to avoid end-of-ferment bitterness.
Alc. 14%, TA 5.17 g/l, pH: 3.72 and RS: 1.37 g/l
