Description

Aromas of milk chocolate and Turkish delight mingle with cherry tobacco and black tea leaves. The nose hints at the promise of succulent, juicy fruit to come. Attractive, deep burgundy appearance. Medium-weight, fine grained tannins and a sense of vibrancy frame the palate. The tension between succulent fruit and savoury tannins finds expression in flavours of fresh cherries dusted with cacao powder that lift the mid-palate and give length to the finish. A pleasing, inviting wine. Each sip reveals facets of these two classic Rhône varieties.
