Description
Fruit was sourced from carefully selected vineyard sites with one goal in mind – to create a style of wine that charms and seduces. Serenity is a seamless blend of three varietals, Pinot noir, Cinsault and Pinotage (a family tree of the two parent varietals and progeny) – an interpretation of something authentically South African. As always, the emphasis of this blend remains entirely on style rather than cultivar make-up. Cultivars are merely vehicles to express terroir and not the expression of a wine itself.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
Enjoy now through to 2029.
Pair with herb-crusted pork tenderloin or wild mushroom ravioli with sage butter.

Not a favourite of mine. Didn’t enjoy the flavour of the blend.

Absolutely delicious blend of Pinotage and its two parents. Really vivid red and purple fruits with and easy, balanced the palate (not too scrawny, like some new-wave wines can be, and not too overdone and heavy, like some clumsy old-school wines can be). Right now, chill it a touch for an elegant drink that goes down fast in summertime. But being so beautifully balanced, and made from these three cultivars in the great 2021 vintage, surely an interesting future awaits this wine as well.
