Blend: Grenache 42%, Shiraz 32%, Mourvedre 18% and Cinsault 8%
A glowing deep ruby with garnet hues at the rim, this Rhone-style blend is richer and darker than a classic Grenache-led wine, thanks to the generous addition of Shiraz. The nose is beautifully expressive, offering vibrant aromas of ripe raspberries and strawberries, complemented by savoury notes of thyme and leather. Subtle hints of mocha and coconut from French oak add further depth and complexity.
The palate is full-bodied and elegantly layered, with juicy red berry fruit leading the way. Silky, fine-grained tannins create a wine that is both generous and refined, delivering a long, harmonious finish.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
An excellent partner to roast lamb, slow-braised beef, venison, duck, chargrilled pork, rich tomato-based dishes and mature cheeses.
Delicious now, it has the structure to evolve gracefully for up to 10 years.
