Description
The nose opens with layers of ripe blackcurrant, cassis and dark plum, followed by hints of cedarand dried Mediterranean herbs. Subtle notes of dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and sweet spice add complexity. The palate is full-bodied and refined, with concentrated black fruit supported by fine-grained tannins and well-integrated oak. A lingering finish reveals touches of graphite and mocha, showcasing the classic character of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
Pair with rich mushroom dishes with truffle or a mature cheddar, gouda and aged Gruyere board.
Drinking beautifully now, but its firm structure, balanced acidity and concentrated fruit will reward careful cellaring for another 5 years.
