Description
This is a medium to full bodied wine with a seamless balance of ripe and fruity tannins and expressive acidity. Dark fruit flavours, such as blackberry and plum dances on the palate while subtle secondary flavours of soft French oak, white pepper spice and red berries develop on the mid palate. The long, fruit driven finish is strengthened by the rich tannin structure that will ensure the drinker craving glass after glass.
This wine drinks well on its own, but pairs beautifully with rich, tomato based lamb or beef stews such as the traditional “potjie kos”.
This wine will benefit from bottle ageing and will reach its full potential in 5 to 10 years.
