Description
Blend: Pinotage 45%, Grenache Noir 27%, Syrah 18%, Mourvedre 10%
Madach is the slang used over the radio and in general conversation by game rangers in South Africa’s lowveld, the area in and around the famous Kruger National Park. Painted Wolves are very rare in the Kruger Park, despite years of effort to develop a larger population here.
Vibrant red and black berry aromas are lifted by a hint of Five Spice, flowing onto a medium-bodied palate with supple tannins and an elegant, lingering finish.
Serve at 14-16 Deg.
A Cape Blend like this (typically Pinotage-led) pairs beautifully with any dish that has slight sweetness, warm spices or meat with smoky or charred flavours.
This wine will continue to improve in the bottle for over 3-5 years.
