Blend of 57% Chenin Blanc, 23% Marsanne & 20% Roussanne – This is only the 2nd release of this wine. The vineyards were planted in 2020 on the estate. The palate is smooth, creamy and textured with a balanced acidity. The taste is a combination of pear, quince, yellow apples and citrus, a touch of earthiness and salty aftertaste.
Serve at 7-9 Deg.
Pair with shellfish (prawns, scallops) – especially with a light citrus butter or herby sauce. A charcuterie board of some mild cured meats, prosciutto and light pate.
Enjoy now through to 2027 and will cellar well for another 4 years where more integrated textures will develop.
