Blend: 70% Syrah, 25% Tannat, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
The consistent quality of earlier vintages and the wine’s award history can be confidently expected in the 2019 release. This Syrah-based blend presents a deep ruby colour and opens with bold aromas of dark plum, blackcurrant, and spice, underpinned by delicate notes of leather and refined oak. On the palate, it is elegant and well balanced, with captivating dark fruit flavours. Smooth, velvety tannins are complemented by a touch of pepper and lively acidity, adding vibrancy and length to the finish.
This wine can be enjoyed now, but it also benefits from further aging of 5 to 8 years.
