Description
The Swartland region is a warm and dry area with a unique terroir that is exceptionally well-suited for growing Syrah. At Kloovenburg, we practise sustainable, low-intervention farming and winemaking, allowing the distinctiveness of the land to shine through in our wines.
Our Syrah 2021 presents an intense ruby colour and has a fragrant bouquet of purple flowers, bright cherry, a hint of white pepper spice, and savoury notes of black olive tapenade. The palate is medium-full bodied with a good structure and soft, silky tannins.
Serve at 12-15 Deg.
Pairs exceptionally well with leaner red meats, stews, and mildly spicy foods.
Enjoy now and will cellar well for another 3 to 5 years.
