Porseleinberg is home to a groundbreaking Cape Syrah that exemplifies the essence of terroir-driven, authentic wine. The extremely rugged and dry schistous mountain doesn’t invite easy viticulture, but of course, extreme terroir produces extreme wine! Callie Louw was the farmer, winemaker and custodian of this special vineyard. Now, Eben Meiring. Callie produced a profound and frankly delicious wine.
TASTING NOTES
2024 is a classic Porseleinberg vintage. Rich and concentrated, it combines depth with freshness, while fine-grained tannins provide structure and persistence.
