This dry aromatic white was crafted from a blend of varietals, 38% Diamond Muscat, 34% Summer Muscat, and 18% Muscat d’Alexandrie.
Fernskloof was to record, the first and only South African wine producer of Summer and Diamond Muscat. Small quantities of it are also produced in America and Australia.
2024 was the last vintage of Fernskloof. Even though dry, it has a characteristic aroma of raisin and litchi, along with flavours of ripe pear and peach.
Serve at 8-10 Deg.
Pair with fresh seafood, sushi, Thai-inspired dishes, lightly spiced Asian cuisine, salads and goat’s cheese.
Best enjoyed young to preserve its aromatic freshness, ideally within 1-3 years of the vintage.
