Description
Crafted from nine different Cabernet Sauvignon clones grown on the Helderberg slopes of Stellenbosch. A portion of the wine is matured in terracotta amphorae alongside French oak, adding texture, purity and complexity to the final blend. Aromas of cassis leaf, black plum and ripe cherries intertwine with notes of cedarwood, graphite and subtle vanilla spice. The palate is beautifully structured, supported by finely textured tannins and a refreshing mineral acidity.
Serve at 16-18 Deg.
A pair match to richly flavoured red meat dishes.
Drinking beautifully now and has the structure to further rewards within 8-10 years.
